LANTANA, Fla.—Two people died Friday when a small plane crashed at a small South Florida airport, Palm Seaside County sheriff’s officers said.
The crash on the Palm Seaside County Park Airport in Lantana occurred shortly after 11 a.m. officers said. Television helicopter footage reveals the Cessna Skyhawk broken into a variety of gadgets successfully off the runway. Names of the victims weren’t immediately launched.
Flightaware.com, a web-based flight monitoring service, reveals that the plane was taking off or had merely taken off when it crashed. The flight info current that the single-propeller plane normally made a variety of transient flights on daily basis, taking off after which returning to the Lantana airport or, generally, flying to totally different small airports inside the area.
