He seasoned it merely with salt and pepper, lime juice or vinegar, and an incredible drizzle of olive oil. Serves 4 to 6
- 3 vine-ripened medium tomatoes, cored and diced
- 1 English (hothouse) cucumber, diced
- 3 scallions, trimmed, white and inexperienced parts roughly chopped
- 2 or 3 radishes, diced
- 1 cup roughly chopped modern flat-leaf parsley
- 1/2 cup roughly chopped modern dill fronds
- 1/4 cup roughly chopped modern mint leaves
- 2 big garlic cloves, minced
- Kosher salt and flooring black pepper
- 1 teaspoon sumac
- 1/2 teaspoon crimson pepper flakes (non-obligatory)
- Juice of 1 lime or lemon, plus further to fashion (2 to 4 tablespoons)
- Additional-virgin olive oil
In a giant bowl, combine the tomatoes, cucumber, scallions, radishes, herbs, and garlic. Season properly with salt and pepper to fashion. Add the sumac and crimson pepper flakes (if using).
Costume the salad with about 2 tablespoons of the lime or lemon juice and a generous drizzle of olive oil (about 3 tablespoons). Toss to combine.
